Year-Round Thankfulness

So Thanksgiving is on Thursday and being thankful is on everyone's mind during this time of the year. I think having a holiday like Thanksgiving is a great reminder to us all to take the time to be thankful. Since I know that it can be easier to remember to be thankful during these fall months, I wanted to share a few scripture verses that we can use to remind us to be thankful year-round.

1 Chronicles 16:34: "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."

1 Thessalonians 5:18: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

Colossians 3:17: "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Psalm 95:2-3: "Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods."

2 Corinthians 9:11: "You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."

These are just a few verses about having a thankful heart. Hopefully throughout the year you can remind yourself of these verses. You could set a reminder on your phone, write them down somewhere, or memorize them so that you can more easily remind yourself to be thankful and also remind yourself to be thankful not just during these months but to have year-round thankfulness. ♥
