2017 Recap

Tomorrow is the first day of 2018. It will officially be the year that I have been thinking about for a very long time. It is the year that I turn 18, graduate high school, and start college. I also plan on launching my secret project that I have been talking about. Next year, around this time, I can only imagine how I'll be feeling from the crazy year.

Starting with January I wanted to do a full recap of this past year so I can reflect on what all happened and so that I can look back in the years to come. Overall, I think this past year was a great growing opportunity for me and also a great opportunity to do things that I have never done before. I started new things, went out of my comfort zone, and began new chapters of my life.

I will try to add as much as I can but I might be missing a few things considering I am pretty forgetful haha.

January
In January we finally sold our house that we had been trying to do for a while and I finished my first semester of my junior year.

February
In February I hit 400 on Instagram, got my license (!!), and spent a weekend away with some family.

March
In March we began building our future home, my cat turned one, and we had family camp with our church.

April
In April I turned 17 and created a group chat for Christian girls.

May
May did not start off the best considering I had the flu and then pneumonia but it ended better because I finished the second semester of my junior year and officially became a senior.

June
In June I took the SAT, our house was finished, and I hit my 2 year blogiversary.

July
In July I started a successful meet the blogger series, cut 12 inches off of my hair, and we finally moved into our new house.

August
In August I had a little mini vacay with my best friend that I hadn't seen in a while.

September
September was the month that I started my senior year of high school.

October
October was the month that I had my first interview, got offered the job, and started my first job.

November
In November I took my first Uber (funny but not so funny story of losing my keys and almost being late to work), traveled a little, and spent Thanksgiving with family.

December
December was the month that it SNOWED! Down here in Texas it is a rare occurrence but I absolutely loved it. We also had an amazing Christmas, traveled a little, saw family, and I started working on my 'secret project'.

2017 was a great year and I am excited to see where the Lord takes me in 2018. Here's to wishing you a happy and healthy 2018. ♥
